‘The Late Night Creep’, Scored by EmmoLei Sankofa, to Premiere at ABFF
EmmoLei Sankofa (she/her) has teamed up once again with director Jamal Dedeaux for the feature film The Late Night Creep, which will have its world premiere at the 2025 American Black Film Festival (ABFF) in Miami next month. This is EmmoLei and Jamal’s second feature together following the successful comedy Three Ways which had its world premiere at the 2022 ABFF before being acquired by Andscape for distribution on HULU.
The comedy feature, starring Jake Choi, Tosin Morohunfola, Karen Obilom, Siddiq Sanderson, Ali Gallo, Lori Laing, Jason Mitchell, and Leslie Jones, follows an unhappily married man (Choi) who sneaks out of the house to go on a date with his college crush and ends up having the night from hell.
The film will premiere on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 8:10pm EDT at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Screening Room 2. For more information, click here.
