Spectra Clients At 2023 LA Shorts Film Festival
The LA Shorts International Film Festival is one of the most prestigious international short film festivals around the world, as well as the longest-running here in Los Angeles. At this year’s 27th festival, we are pleased to showcase two of our clients whose work is being screened:
Guardian Angel
Guardian Angel, scored by Matthew Wang, is a drama starring Sufe Bradshaw and is part of this year’s Official Selection. Co-directed by Joey Rogoff and Brian Yuran, the film follows flight attendant Wilma Reed who finds herself in a life-or-death situation trying to save a passenger’s life without raising suspicion of the possible captor.
Slippers
Slippers, scored by Mary Lattimore, is a short directed by Mark Ryan Walberg that recently won Best Drama at the 2023 Oregon Short Film Festival. The film follows desperate Jo as she wanders the deserts of California after receiving cryptic and erratic messages from her father. The film is an Official Selection at this year’s LA Shorts Film Fest as well, and will be screening this Sunday July 30th at the 3:15 time block at the Regal LA Live Theather.
