Leo Carax’s ‘Annette’ Opens Cannes 2021 With Vocal Prodcution By Fred Avril

Spectra composer Fred Avril provided vocal production for Annette, the new film in songs by Leo Carax, which opened the Festival du Cannes with its premiere. The musical film stars Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard, with music by Sparks. Fred provided vocal production and arrangements for all of Adam Driver’s musical numbers.

Synopsis: Los Angeles, today. Henry is a stand-up comedian with a fierce sense of humor. Ann, a world-renowned opera singer.Under the spotlight, they form a wholesome and glamorous couple. The birth of their first child, Annette, a mysterious little girl with an exceptional destiny, will turn their lives upside down.
