Julianna Barwick Scores New Episode of Podcast “Drifting Off With Joe Pera”

Composer and vocalist Julianna Barwick (she/her) has created original music for the newest episode of Drifting Off with Joe Pera, the evening comedy podcast designed to help listeners fall asleep using interviews, soundscapes, and light humor from comedian Joe Pera and Ryan Dann.

In this special travel episode Joe records from a London flat in the rain and takes his listeners on an audio tour of his escapades in Ireland. To give a sense of his humor, as Julianna’s soothing, ethereal piano and vocals play, he muses, “It has been a little scary to figure out the episode about traveling. However, knowing that Julianna Barwick is doing the music makes me feel alright. Even if I just went out and recorded the drunkest man in Britain, her score would still make it a beautiful experience.”

You can stream the full episode now on Apple Music, YouTube, or Spotify. New episodes come out on the first Sunday of every month and will feature guest scores from composers and interviews from “interesting folks.” Joe also has a Patreon to support his podcast and offers extended interviews and extra rewards.
