Julianna Barwick and Mary Lattimore Join Spectra Creative Agency Composer Roster

We’re thrilled to welcome composer/vocalist Julianna Barwick and composer/harpist Mary Lattimore to the Spectra Creative Agency family!

Julianna Barwick (she/her) is a Los Angeles based composer, vocalist, and producer who makes deep, reflective compositions rooted in the human voice. Over the years she has made six critically acclaimed records, most recently releasing "Healing Is A Miracle," in July 2020, which featured Jónsi (Sigur Rós), Mary Lattimore, and Nosaj Thing, earning Pitchfork's coveted 'Best New Music' for 2020. Julianna took a natural step into the world of composing for film when she co-scored the short film I Remember Nothing. She has since gone on to score a number of short films and documentaries and is now more actively pursuing this area of her career, taking on more scoring opportunities alongside her artist work.

Mary Lattimore (she/her) is a harpist living in Los Angeles. She experiments with her Lyon and Healy Concert Grand harp and effects. Her solo debut, The Withdrawing Room, was released in 2013 on Desire Path Recordings. Mary also writes harp parts for songs and recordings, performing and recording with such great artists as Meg Baird, Thurston Moore, Sharon Van Etten, Jarvis Cocker, Kurt Vile, Steve Gunn, Ed Askew and Fursaxa. Silver Ladders, her third LP on Ghostly, sees Lattimore arriving at her most confident work to date, expanding her style of instrumental storytelling with the help of producer and guitarist Neil Halstead (Slowdive, Mojave 3). Recorded in Halstead’s studio near an old English surftown just before lockdown, the songs on Silver Ladders reflect Lattimore’s vivid memories against the gloom and glimmer of the ocean.
