Caleb and Brian Chan Nominated for 2024 Canadian Screen Awards

The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television is the largest non-profit professional media arts organization in Canada. Every year it produces the Canadian Screen Awards, bringing together the screen-based industry annually to celebrate the country’s top talent in the film, television and digital sectors at Canadian Screen Week. We are proud to announce that composers Caleb and Brian Chan (he/him) have received two nominations this year.

Best Original Music, Animation
Pinecone & Pony (Dreamworks Animation, Apple TV+) — “The Sturdy Stone”

Best Original Music – Original Song
Builder Brothers Dream Factory (Sinking Ship Entertainment, Prime Video) — “Groom-ba“

The two brothers received double nominations in the previous year for Pinecone & Pony and Team Zenko Go, and have received CASMA nominations for their work in the past, as well as winning the 2023 and 2022 Leo Awards for their work in Angry Birds: Summer of Madness and A Fabled Christmas.

Congratulations to both Caleb and Brian for this big accomplishment; we will be rooting for your big win!
